Astada is a startup which connects designers from around the globe with clients who need design projects. Designers take part in contests where they can show off their work, improve their skills, communicate with peers, and win new clients. Astada also has marketplace where users can buy and sell websites, domains, design templates, etc.
Astada functionality features:
Design contests. Registered users can create contests by creating design brief and setting up budget. Designers submit their design concepts (entries) to compete for the prize. Contest holder communicates with designers via message board, provides feedbacks and helps designer deliver best design. At the completion of design contest holder chooses winning design and pays the designer the prize amount.
Marketplace listings. Users can buy and sell established websites, templates, turnkey sites and domains within marketplace. Sellers create marketplace listings and buyers make bids and compete to buy just like at Ebay.
Upgrades. Users can upgrade their contests or marketplace listings if they would like to promote their contests or marketplace listings and attract more attention to them. There are several types of upgrades which will show contests/marketplace listings at the main page, highlighted in the list of other contests/listings, in the featured area, etc.
And more: needless to say that Astada has nice designer profiles, messaging system, forum, paypal gateway for different payments and custom administration management area which manages all parts of the website.
